MUSIQUIM is an artistic association that creates music and theatrical performance specially for kids. The main resource is art, everything starts with art, music, theater and movement. Also, one of the main focus is working on Inclusion through art by working with people with disabilities.

MUSIQUIM aims to connect the theoretical knowledge with the stage practice- many workshops on performance, drama and shadow theatre, acting, directing, playwriting, music and theatre didactics. Thus, MUSIQUIM gives the opportunity to many artists, teachers and students to incorporate the most important elements of expressiveness in their skills. Performing and speech training provides the perfect opportunity for attendees to practice the orality by listening, reading, speaking, singing etc.

Also, MUSIQUIM is a nonprofit cultural cooperative association mainly designed to promote a professional dance artists and a platform for young dancers to engage in early-career professional performances. The structures in MUSIQUIM share the same physical space, human resources and goals to form a new artistic hub striving for Dance both as high-standard performance art and civil society actor for change. Through the approaches of Arts-Education, which we believe to be of the utmost importance for the global development of the human being and of the society, promoting regular activities:

  • performance arts productions, mainly classical and contemporary dance and music, both academic and professional;
  • National and International exchanges and study trips, for artistic training enhancement;
  • International Dance School meetings;
  • research projects in the area of dance, which uses dance as a tool for the improvement of life quality and relief of the typical motor and psychological symptoms of some neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.

The Association SCIENTIA NOVA works in supporting and promoting the education, culture, adult education and lifelong learning; organizing international cooperation with similar organisations; developing and promoting art in public; stimulating the creative art works through recognition and other forms of motivation; developing international promotion of the culture and art.

Also the Association SCIENTIA NOVA takes part in activation of the youth in the process of integration in Europe, based on the principles of peace, human rights, democracy and the rule of law; promotion of youth activism and education, as well as youth influence on public policies; contribution to the development of civil society, as well as the involvement of young people in social events and processes, especially in the decision-making process in local communities etc.

The Center of Excellence is an institution that promotes the education of potentially gifted students in the Split-Dalmatia County, with the aim of creating a framework for working with talented and gifted students in the Republic of Croatia. They also try to share what we have learned in this process with all the people who want to help excellent and gifted students to realize their full potential in their homeland, the EU and the world.

Mission: The Center of Excellence of the Split-Dalmatia County aims to encourage the excellence of students and the excellence of the system itself.

Vision: Realization of the full potential of every excellent and gifted student in SDŽ and the Republic of Croatia.

The training of educational staff to work with potentially gifted students is also their primary interest, and the center organizes various educations and conferences in the field of working with the gifted, which are not only focused on the concept of giftedness, but also on teaching work methods for the purpose of improving the entire system.

At the moment, they have over 120 mentors and more than 430 students in their “A” programs in mathematics, informatics, new technologies and natural sciences, and the entrepreneurship program has started to be implemented this school year.
