Learning activity C6: Musicals and musical performance
The sixth and last Learning Teaching Training Activities (LTTA) with the themeMusicals and Musical Performances, held by Musiquim in Ribeira Grande, from January 14th to 18th, 2024, provided a platform for six learners and three trainers from each partner institution to enhance their skills in musical performance, creativity, and emotional management and present in the main venue (Teatro Ribeiragrandense) an Ópera named: “Unison, sound and soul”.
Six learners accompanied by three trainers from each partner institution participated in the LTTA. Participants participated in the presentation of original musical performances, fostering creativity, teamwork, and artistic expression. Local artists were involved in the rehearsal teaching participants various performing techniques and insights into the world of musical theater. Those sessions also encouraged participants to explore imagination, storytelling, and character-creation techniques, with tools provided to apply these concepts to different target groups.The presentation of the Opera Unison: sound and Soul to the local community provided an opportunity to show participants’ talents and promote networking opportunities with other artists or producers. The Musicals and Musical Performances LTTA organized by Musiquim in Ribeira Grande provided participants with valuable opportunities for skill development, creativity enhancement, and community engagement. Through workshops, performances, and networking events, participants gained practical experience and insights into the world of musical theater.
